Kudos for a great job to the young actor (Roger Allan) "Piers" in the movie for a rough acting stunt, the whipping
he took in Jack's Cave.

Roger's Allan commentary on the scene

I have just perused your web-site of pictures and seemingly a commentary by Tom Gaman.

There is a picture of a boy being whipped over a rock in Jack's cave, which Tom incorrectly identifies as one of the twins.

In fact it was myself. There were two lashes for real for each of two takes, resulting in six pencil thick welts across my bottom. Funnily enough, I volunteered for the gig the day before, and then spent all the previous evening trying to persuade someone else to take my place.

As it is my one and only nude scene as an actor, I would be grateful if you could credit the picture appropriately.

The character of "Morris" is not in the printed cast list. But "Morris" is the name said in the sound track when the choir boys are sounding off their names. "Julien" is the name in the printed cast list. Looks like this could be another "oops" in continuity.
